George - the Amazing Cat
Died on Wednesday 3rd December 2008
George was the PROPS cat - he loved people and children. George died after only a few days illness at the age of only about 5 on 3rd December 2008.

George first found us in the spring of 2005 when he was hardly more than a kitten. He wasn't very well and needed our help.
With the help of the cat protection people he made a full recovery but decided he din't want to go home. He became our cat - our friend.
He lived in and around the theatre and became more than just a pet. He supervised rehearsals, played hide and seek, joined in with LAMDA lessons insisting on sitting on the desk - usually on someone's file.
He got on with everyone and was gentle and playful.
His friend when we were not around was the donkey who lived in the field behind the theatre and rumour has it that he was seen riding on the donkeys back. 
When we moved from the hall in November 2007 we had to decide what to do with George. we took some advice from the RSPCA and he went to live with Anne - who had 2 other cats and a very big garden. It took less than a week for him to settle in.
